UK Household Income Lowest Since 2005

According to figures published recently from the Office of National Statistics, household incomes for the quarter dropped by £27 to £4,444. This is the lowest household income rate since the second quarter of 2005. What's worse is that without state benefits, tax credits and other government allowances propping up already flagging incomes, that figure would have reached a nine year low.
